Detect the onset of the menopause in under 15 minutes

The menopause home test is designed to detect the onset of the menopause by measuring a hormone which remains high in women who are going through the menopause.

Simple and accurate

During the normal female reproductive cycle FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) is released from the pituitary gland to prepare the ovaries for ovulation. Once the woman has ovulated the production of FSH ceases and detectable levels drop off significantly until the reproductive cycle begins again.

However during the onset of menopause, levels of FSH are generally elevated throughout the entire cycle and do not fluctuate. This medical test is a one-step home test that can detect levels of FHS in urine.

Proved by science

Controlled laboratory studies result in a 96% accuracy rate in detecting FSH at levels of 25 mIU/ml (+) when the home test is used according to instructions.

FSH is the hormone to watch

If FSH levels remain elevated at 25 mIU/ml or greater during the entire cycle, then this is evidence that the pituitary gland is continuing to produce FSH because there has been an interruption or failure in normal egg follicle stimulation and therefore fertility has not occurred, an indication of the start of the menopause.
